Reform Minded
Preaching Centered
and Discipleship DrivenMore than a clever slogan for us, this is a brief statement that reminds us of what we want to be and do for the glory of God. We welcome you to join us on this journey, as God works in our hearts to make us more and more like our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We are a Preaching Centered Local Church
The New Testament church of scripture and the early Reformers of the Reformation Era believed that God speaks primarily through His preached Word, as the people of God assembled as a common family to hear from Him. They saw this as the primary means the Spirit uses to educated and motivate the saints to live God-centered lives and reach out to win the lost for His Kingdom.
In the same way, Grace Community Church of Tulsa is dedicated to gathering together on a regular basis to hear the sequential verse-by-verse preaching of the Old and New Testament, by men prepared to explain the Bible. The goal is that of changing lives for the glory of God.
Dear Sister Susan:
Just want to say (i just started listening to your video about Discipleship), it is such a needed thing. I have been saved for over thirty years and honestly I can probably count on one hand how many times i have been discipled. I thank God, that He always answered my prayers when I asked that He would help me to be open to truth and closed to error. Thank you for boldly declaring the truth of scripture. I so appreciate it!
God bless you and your family always!
Anne Schenk
Anne, thank you for your note of encouragement. To God be the glory!
