The Ladies of Grace Community Church invite you to study with them this Fall!
We will be studying John 13-17 which is one of the most beloved portions of God’s Word. These verses capture the last moments with Christ and the twelve disciples before Christ’s death on the cross.
J.C. Ryle, writes:
“In every age the content of of these chapters have been justly regarded as one of the most precious parts of the Bible. They have been meat and drink, the strength and comfort of all true hearted Christians. Let us ever approach them with peculiar reverence. The place whereon we stand is holy ground.”

Dear GCC Family,
While we are meeting at 8:30am this Sunday, hurricane Irma will be just hitting Miami Florida, one of the more dense areas in populated Florida. Because of the magnitude of the storm, we are “Calling GCC to Prayer,” so if you can make our special time at 8:30am it would be appreciated. Now is the time for the people of God to reflect and lift up our voice to the Lord God!
Speaking of reflection, I am sure you realize many Pastors of America will be preaching on the storm, so I want to do the same. Actually I want to impale all of Giddy and all attenders on the “horns of a dilemma,” i.e., Is Harvey and Irma direct acts of God’s angry displeasure with sin or is it the Laws of Nature blasting Texas and Florida? Make sure to think through this question as the answer might surprise you. Our whole culture is preoccupied with the larger question, “Where is God when such unthinkable catastrophe happens?”
Don left for Kenya today. It’s time for our annual camp, when all the families of the James1:27 project gather for some teaching, ministry, song, mutual support, and a lot of getting to know each other better. These families are widely scattered in this rural community, and the camp is an opportunity to make friends and encourage each other. Don will be the only representative from the US this time. Guest teachers include old friends Chris and Anne Amulo. Chris is a veterinarian who is now involved full time in ministry with the Navigators in Nairobi. His wife Anne is a pediatrician. Don will stay with Meshack and Elizabeth and work with our wonderful community volunteers to assess needs and make plans for the future. I am keeping things going here at the ranch back in Oklahoma. Please join me in prayer for a safe and productive trip and growing friendships with all those in the project.
Come join us tonight as Men with the Master and Women with the Master meet tonight at 7 pm at GCC of Tulsa.
The Men with the Master has recently started our journey through John MacArthur’s and Rich Mayhue’s Biblical Doctrine. We are currently looking at the Inspiration of Scriptures. We will have the pages that are set home for reading here, so stay tuned.
The Women continue their study with Susan Heck as they look to prayer.
Childcare is provided. Classes start at 7 pm and run to 8:30pm.
Come join us!
