MIDWEEK Ministry

Tuesdays at 7PM

Current Men’s and Women’s Bible Study

Tuesdays at Grace Community Church – 7:00 PM

We are studying The Example And Commands Of Jesus Christ: What It Means To Be A Disciple Of Jesus Christ. This group study will utilize all the miscellaneous Scripture texts that refer to the living principles of the Lordship of Jesus Christ, as well as the sermon series book by D. Martyn Lloyd-Jones called: Studies In The Sermon On The Mount.”

There is a written syllabus available and connected with our texts that divides our study into the following parts, with syllabus pages:

  1. Who can be a disciple of Jesus Christ – Their Belief (pp. 1-11)
  2. Jesus’ expectations of His disciples – Their Character (pp. 12-27)
  3. Jesus’ commands of His disciples – Their Conduct (pp. 28-45)
  4. Jesus’ example for His disciples – Their Model (pp. 46-47)
  5. How a disciple of Jesus thinks – Their Practices (pp. 48-56)
  6. Understanding Jesus’ parables of His kingdom – Their Focus (pp. 56-60)
  7. True greatness in Jesus’ kingdom – Their Marks (pp. 62-63)

As love, humility, and faithfulness are foundational to THE FAITH, so too we must learn and follow the other important, critical character traits, conduct, practices and marks of a true disciple of Jesus Christ; as opposed to a superficial or ignorant follower who has not diligently counted the real cost of discipleship.

Please join us every Tuesday as we seek to follow Christ in wisdom and grace. He is altogether beautiful, sufficient and worthy of worship, thanksgiving and praise as we work together, shoulder-to-shoulder, for His Kingdom and His glory!

We are all blessed by this study and you are invited to participate in person or by way of each session audio recording below.
